Peter Davis
I'm Peter Davis, a husband, father, project manager and small business owner. I've lived in the Town of Tioga for about 6 years and enjoy gardening, birding, biking, paddling and visiting Florida's springs. I work for a professional services firm and also own a web design business, 311 Media. I am a former member of the board of directors for the Deercreek Community (Jacksonville). I welcome the opportunity to serve on the Community Board of Directors to represent residents and their priorities for the Community.
Claire Marcussen
My name is Claire Marcussen and I have been a resident of the Town of Tioga since 2005. I would like to continue to represent our residents on the BOD because I want to ensure that our community values and environment remain preserved while balancing the continued growth that is occurring within and outside our community. This is a delicate balancing act to ensure we do not lose the community’s charm but to also accommodate the needs of our community. I have lived in Gainesville since 1988 and continue to work as an environmental consultant out of my home. I am a great problem solver, excellent with numbers and I pay attention to detail especially when tracking the HOA income and operating expenses. I have been on the BOD since 2019 and feel confident that I can provide constructive feedback upon your behalf as the BOD makes decisions to preserve the quality and safety of our community. I would be honored to continue to represent our community to make sure our voices are heard and fairly represented when decisions need to be made to improve our community.
Al Purdy
Hi Tioga, my name is AL and I have been a resident of Town of Tioga for four years. First and foremost, I would love for this community to continue to be a safe and welcoming community for everyone to enjoy. As a US Army Vet with 3 combat tours to Iraq (2) & Afghanistan security, safety, and standards are my top priorities. I am very involved in the community as a volunteer and committee member. I attend each board meeting as a Terrazas committee member, so I am very aware of ongoing issues and ongoing projects here in the Town of Tioga.
