Community Updates!!
8th Avenue crosswalks -
The 8th Avenue pedestrian crosswalks are completed and ready for use! The speed limit sign, and pedestrian signage has also been placed.
Reminder to lock vehicles
As a general reminder lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables or keys in your vehicles. (And in sight) Also general reminder please report suspicious activity and follow proper channels.

Please if you see something say something......report activity. In Town of Tioga over the last several months we have had an influx of juvenile activity. Parents please know where your juveniles are, where they spend there time. They should not be destructing personal property or in HOA common areas.
Golf Carts
Please make sure your entire household is following the Alachua County guidelines and requirements of golf cart usage on the roadways! For the safety of all residents please encourage family members to keep a watchful eye out for pedestrians and yield to all pedestrians on all esplanade areas.
-- FSS 316.212(7) – “A golf cart may not be operated on public roads or streets by any person under the age of 14.”
-- Alachua County Ordinance Sec. 51.63. - Hours of operation.
- Golf carts meeting the equipment standards established in section 51.62 for operation between the hours of sunset and sunrise may be operated after sunset according to the following driver requirements:
- Golf carts operated between sunset to 11:00 p.m. shall be driven by a person at least 16 years of age with a valid government issued picture ID.
- Golf carts operated between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. shall be driven by a person at least 17 years of age with a valid government issued picture ID.
- Golf carts operated between 1:00 a.m. until sunrise shall be driven by a person at least 18 years of age with a valid government issued picture ID. Please make sure your household has the proper requirements and valid ID's. All of the above are enforceable by the Sheriff's office. Please call 352-955-1818 if you see violations regarding golf cart use.

Trash/Yard Waste –

Only six holidays affect collection service:
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Year's Day
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday (observed)
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Waste will not be collected on these holidays, and all scheduled pickups will be delayed by one (business) day. Collection will return to the normal the following week.
Please remember if you live with an alley behind you regular trash and yard waste is picked up from the alley. Storm debris after large storms can be picked up curb side (Only after storms). And any special/large or extra pickups can be called in 352-338-3233. Please keep this number if you have any questions.
RV or boat storage
If anyone is needing to rent out a space for boats or RV's there is spaces available in the Dibro’s storage area. (Off of SW 131st Street before first roundabout entering the neighborhood). Please inquire with Kimi at 352-331-6220!
Sidewalk Trip Hazards
We currently have several work orders with the county for sidewalk repairs. I am currently working on an additional list if you would like to submit any that are of concern, I can cross reference to make sure I get as many in when the county comes out. Please submit to tcmmail@townoftioga.com please give address/lot numbers/streets or pictures that will be helpful in identifying.
