Nominations for Board of Directors to serve on the Town of Tioga Community Association (TOTCA) for the calendar year 2022

The TOTCA Board of Directors Nominating Committee is seeking residents to run for election to a Board Seat for the calendar year of 2022.
The TOTCA Board is currently seven people. “The Founder” appoints four members, and 3 resident members are nominated and elected annually. The appointed members serve at the pleasure of the founder and hold positions until such time as the founder chooses to change his appointed board member. The three resident members serve one-year terms and must be reelected every year at our Annual Meeting, currently scheduled for Thursday January 27, 2022, at 6:00 pm. The terms of the three 2022 members will end at the end of the 2023 annual meeting.
Please consider being nominated to run for election to our 2022 board. Residents have 3 seats on the board and participate in the governance of our wonderful community. The board meets between 4-6 times a year and board members serve on committees as required during the year and may work on special initiatives through the year as required.
One of our current board members, Claire Marcussen is serving on the Nominating Committee and would love to talk with you about serving on the board if you are interested. Please contact her or Debbie Crouch at the phone or emails listed below. The Nominating Committee needs to complete the list of interested residents who wish to serve on the board by December 20th to enable it to report, via email, to the board on the slate of interested residents. Our plan is to share the list of candidates, as well as simple bios on the nominees, to all our residents two weeks before the annual meeting along with proxy’s should the resident not be able to attend the annual meeting. We will also entertain any nomination from the floor at the annual meeting.
