Bread of the Mighty Food Donations - Ongoing until December 31st It’s time for our annual food drive: November 1 to December 31. Once again, we will be collecting donations for Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. Food donations should be dropped off at our clubhouse, during the day, as we don’t want food sitting on the porch overnight. Donation by check can be made payable to: Bread of the Mighty and should be dropped off to Debbie, at the management office. Shirl Regis your fellow resident & Board President who handles the collection and set up thought she would add some fun this year and hold a drawing to win one of her handmade (gator) quilts. Here’s the deal: for each bag/box of food donated you’ll get 1 chance to win (e.g., 3 bags=3chances); for every $25 donation, you’ll get 1 chance (e.g., $100=4 chances). In your donation bag/box, include your name, & contact information on a slip of paper. Shirl will collect the food, regularly, & will make sure you get credit for each donation. For check donations just provide your contact information, (no cash, please). Last year, we collected over 1000 lbs. of food, & $750 in monetary donations! If you have any questions, please private message Shirl Regis through the Nextdoor site, especially if you need to make donations during non-business hours. Drawing will take place in early January.
