We wanted to take a moment to make all residents aware that our community has been experiencing a high volume of internal juvenile activity here in Town of Tioga. We are asking parents to please talk to your kids about the dangers of participating in the most recent Tik Tok door kicking challenge. What seems like a prank to our children could have a very bad ending in reality. It is a very scary situation being on the other side of the prank. Please we are asking our parents through out Tioga to get involved. Know what your kids are doing....where they are going. And if they are involved in the latest activities let us know. Please report ANY suspicious activity to The Alachua County Sheriffs Department- non emergency 352-955-1818 and of course in the case of an emergency 911. No child should be on another residents property without permission period. If you have any information regarding any activity please also report to the Sheriff's office. Please talk to your kids, report activity. We will have an ASO Lieutenant in the Special Operations Division at our next Board meeting August 4th at 4pm in the meeting hall so please attend if you can.
