2nd Quarter Community Updates

Hi everyone, Please take a moment to review and get up to date on all things in the neighborhood!


Committees & Clubs Nicole Bodlak will be putting together a Community Events Committee on Wednesday, May 1, at 6:00 pm in the meeting hall. Shirl Regis holds Craft Group (1st Thursday of every month) - next meeting May 2nd, 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Book Club (3rd Monday of every month) next meeting May 20th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the meeting hall. Please reach out to each resident with questions regarding the clubs or committees. Please contact me directly at tcmmail@townoftioga.com if you need Nicole or Shirl's information.

Meetings

The next Board of Directors Meeting for the third quarter is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the meeting hall for anyone interested in attending.

Approval for Tioga residents can be given after you create an account. You can find all updates, meetings posted, important information about the community, and design review information - for changes to the outside of homes etc, covenants, and homeowners handbook on our community site:https://www.townoftioga.com/ please look for the resident tab at the top.


Card Point credit card payment link

Home Maintenance

As an additional reminder! Remember to keep Tioga beautiful & a great place to live for everyone. We appreciate all resident's efforts in the upkeep of their home (pressure washing, yard maintenance, fence repair, etc).

If you receive a reminder letter on your home's maintenance please let us know if you have these repairs scheduled.For all changes regarding house painting, roof, landscape, fencing, etc. remember to submit a Design Review Application. One can be printed athttps://www.townoftioga.com/  or contact Debbie Crouch at tcmmail@townoftioga.com


For Sale Signs

We hate to see you go…but if you must, please remember to place all For Sale Signs in your actual yard and not in the common areas from the sidewalk to the curb. Only as needed will we follow up with a letter.


Safety

For the safety of all residents please encourage family members to keep a watchful eye out for pedestrians and yield to all pedestrians on all esplanade areas. Remember to observe and comply with the alleyway entrances & exits. If a resident observes a golf cart safety concern on the roadways please remember to report it to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office. Please lock vehicles & do not leave valuables in plain sight. Remember the phrase “if you see something say something” and report suspicious activity to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office. Non–Emergency 352-955-1818Emergency 911


 Tree Removal

Waste/Garbage Pickup

Reminder: Garbage pickup is every week. Garbage cans may be put out for collection at Dusk the day before picking up and must be stored away promptly — preferably the same day as pick up but no later than noon the day after picking up. All garbage cans must be stored away in garages or the back of the home or a properly fenced or buffered area so they are not visible from the street or alley. All rubbish, trash, waste, yard waste, debris, and garbage shall be regularly removed from the home and lot and shall not be allowed to accumulate thereon or to be stored in such a manner that it is visible from the street and becomes a nuisance. For Alachua County information please see the link attached:https://www.alachuacounty.us/depts/solidwaste/residential/curbside/pages/curbsidepickup.aspx 


RV or boat storage

If anyone needs to rent out a space for boats or RV's there are spaces available in the Dibro’s storage area. (Off of SW 131st Street before the first roundabout entering the neighborhood). Please inquire with Kimi at 352-331-6220!


Sidewalk Trip Hazards

We continuously submit work orders with the county for sidewalk repairs.You can send it directly to https://alachuacounty.us/Depts/PW/Roads/Pages/Road%20and%20Bridge.aspx through the rbmaintenance@alachuacounty.us email. Or to Debbie Crouch at tcmmail@townoftioga.com.
